Gnocchi with tomato sauce & basil

Ready in: 25 minutes  4 portions

Ingredients

  • 600 grams of potato gnocchi (boiled)
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped basil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 120 grams of parmesan
  • 60 grams of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • salt and pepper

 

Instructions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic clove. Add the tomato, salt, pepper, sugar and basil. Let them cook for on low heat for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the liquids are absorbed and remove from heat.
Step 2
Grease a pyrex with some olive oil and add the gnocchi. Pour the sauce and scatter the parmesan on top if you want.
Step 3
Preheat the oven and bake for about 5 to 10 minutes and serve.
