Banana oatmeal

Ready in: 15 minutes  1 portion


  • 20 grams of oat flakes
  • 1 tsp flaxseed
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • 250 ml water or plant based milk


Step 1
In a small saucepan, add the water (or milk), oat flakes, flaxseed, half a banana and cinnamon.
Step 2
Mix well and put the saucepan on medium to high heat.
Step 3
Once it starts to boil, lower the heat and stir constantly until it starts to become a porridge.
Step 4
When the mixture becomes thick enough, remove from the heat and serve in a bowl with the rest of the banana, cut into slices.
Step 5
Add the coconut milk and cook for 10 more minutes. Taste it, add salt and pepper if you want and serve.
Step 6
Enjoy it as a nutritious breakfast that will give you energy to start your day!
